Welcome to the all new Living Vegan!

It's been quite a while since we've had an update around here, and we're sure some of you have wondered what's been going on. Well we've been working hard in the background making big changes to Living Vegan. The parts that you'll notice most are the new look, features, and functionality, but we've also put together a whole new platform that will ensure the continued functionality and growth of the site. Yes, things will actually work correctly now. This will allow us to focus more on improving the user experience and adding new features.

This also means that we are more than ready to expand our restaurants directory as many of you have inquired about in the past. So if you're ready, willing, and able, first check out this article, then use the contact form or Living Vegan profile to get in touch with us.

We've also finally launched our recipes section.  It's full of great and easy recipes, but you can help make it even better by adding photos and reviews, or why not even your own recipe! And in celebration of the new site and our new recipes section we'll be giving away Skinny Bitch in a Box to one lucky user. This includes Skinny Bitch and Skinny Bitch in the Kitch together in hardcover, exclusively packaged in a deluxe slipcased box set. All you have to do is sign up and contribute to the site. This can be anything from reviews, to photos, or submissions. We'll announce the winner on November 30th.

To get you started and up to date on what's new here at Living Vegan we've put together this detailed article. Also be sure to check out our updated about us page, and always be sure to follow the site guidelines.

We hope you enjoy the big changes around here and as always thank you for your support and contributions. Should you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, hit us up on our contact form or the Living Vegan user account.

A few known kinds that were currently trying to work out are mainly with Internet Explorer. If you have any issues they will most likely be resolved by using Firefox or Google Chrome. If you find anything else that you think needs fixing, please let us know!

But we're not done yet!

We still have a few ideas floating around that we're hoping to implement in the next few months. So be sure to stay in touch via our monthly newsletter or check back regulary to find out what's new at LivingVegan.org
