Oh Vegan Zone, how I love your food and philosophy. Please open a North Park location - there's lots of love waiting for you here!

Me and my non-vegan friend went for lunch here yesterday and it was wonderful. We split an avo quesadilla and hash browns. I had the blueberry-banana pancakes and she had the eggplant w/"chicken". Everything was so tasty and fresh. I would go back anytime even though I live all the way in North County. Everyone who worked there was also super nice and helpful. Such a great way to start a Sunday!

Was visiting San Diego to see my friend. Had my friend and her sister with me, neither of them are even vegetarians. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was good. My friends loved it too, and said they would go back as well. mmm.

I really enjoyed Vegan Zone! The food was great, my husband is not vegan and he enjoyed the ham fried rice. I am on my way back, right now. San Diego really needs a place like this. I wish there was a Vegan Zone in Chula Vista. Thanks for the great food and service.

I'm so excited about vegan zone. This is exactly what san diego needs. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and has the appearance of a high class establishment, and the quality of the food goes along with it. At vegan zone you'll find moderately priced meals with outstanding quality. A hard find in san diego. I eat here multiple times a week, I can't wait till they get desert. Make sure you try the avocado quesadillas and cream cheese wontons. The breakfeast burritos are great too, and the waitress is cute!

I've recently been to Vegan Zone several times and I have to say that I am very impressed.
On my first visit, I spoke with one of the owners about the ingredients used in their pre-packaged mock-meats and she was very forthcoming, bringing us the packaging immediately, assuring us that all the products used at Vegan Zone are indeed Vegan. This was very refreshing in light of really bad experiences in L.A. with similar restaurants that were and continue to serve non-vegan food claiming that it is vegan and refusing to show customers ingredient lists - despite being required to do so by law.
The menu at Vegan Zone is very easy look over and logically designed. My impression after eating there on several occasions now is that they focus on having a good selection of high-quality meals rather than countless items of substandard quality.
things i've tried and enjoyed: avacado quesadilla, ham and cream cheese wantons, dumplings, steak wrap, one of the traditional noodle dishes, and several samplings of friends' food. Overall everything has been great! And I can't wait for my next trip
