Scoops offers fresh daily made Gelato, Sorbet and Ice cream, with an increasing number of vegan options. The owner is exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable since he makes everything on site fresh every day. The sorbets are vegan and there are usually 2-3 vegan flavors of ice cream. If there is enough interest the owner will make the entire menu vegan. Recent additions to the menu include ice creams and sorbets with no refined sugar. And the best part, only $1 a scoop! Scoops is amazing!!! The owner Ty seems to be the only employee, and while only ~20% of the menu is currently vegan he knows what is in every item and is incredibly conscientious about informing vegans of what is in what.
His menu is ever expanding in terms of diversity and creativeness. Recently I had pear-ginger sorbet which was awesome, as well as coconut with basel seed! sounds strange? it was delicious! He has also been making efforts to sweeten things without refined sugar, and hinted at making it an all vegan establishment if there was enough interest. get out there and support this amazing establishment.
