My last visit to Fatty's was ages ago, and I finally went back last night having been in Eagle Rock for the Music Fest. The entire menu was totally different. Loads more vegan choices, and the service (while still kinda slow) was very friendly. My food was amazing, I had the Strudel and the tea was tasty. The piece de resistance was the Fudgey, the most delicious chocolate confection I've had in a while. The whole experience was enjoyable, though pricey (dinner for four was $100 bucks). I would totally go back.

I'm also surprised to see any bad reviews for Fatty's. We have been going there since the very start and we have always had a good experience. The menu has expanded over the years and they have gone away from being a student-y hangout to a more polished but still comfy place. They have excellent appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. We have gotten many friends and a few family members hooked on Fatty's. The drinks are refreshing and there are always tasty and unique teas. Atmosphere is very modern and has a good vibe. We have always been treated graciously and attentively by the owners and staff. I highly recommend it!

I think Fatty's is great - I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. They have a ton of good vegan stuff besides the pizza, including the Sloppy Joe Bruschetta and The Zeppelin, both of which aren't vegan but have vegan options.

My only gripe is that they seem to have stopped serving brunch, and I'm going to miss their vegan french toast, which was the best.

Service was slow and rude and the food was cold when it got to us. No flavor. I don't reccomend this place.

ok, so i have issues with this place. when i first heard about it, it was open all the time for lunch, then it was only open at night and on weekends. THEN they changed their menu and took off the sandwiches that were amazing. Now the only thing decent thats vegan is the vegan pizza, but its 18 dollars! lots of overpriced stuff, but its a decent atmosphere, although the waiters are sometimes not so nice.
