A former employee told us the soy chicken contained whey (dairy) a little over one year ago.... since then, Truly has confirmed their soy meats (soy chicken, soy fish and soy pepper steak) to have vegan ingredients. You are posting as a Guest. Login

Hands downs the BEST blueberry banana pancakes in town! The breakfast combos are deeelicious. However, steer clear of the Shabu Shabu. My favs are the breakfast happily, lentil and chicken burgers and the Breakfast of Champions.

Truly Vegan has the best vegan pancakes on the planet. Scratch that; these pancakes are better than most "regular" pancakes I've had. Go for the "Breakfast Protein", which includes pancakes and a side of their amazing tofu scramble. Better yet, ask them to "upgrade" the "Breakfast Protein" to the blueberry and banana pancakes. Again, these pancakes would be loved by anyone, vegan or not. They come served with verifiably REAL maple syrup, and a scoop of delicious "I hope it's not hydrogenated" vegan butter.
When I'm not taking satisfying a vegan breakfast craving, I'll order their house specialty cuisine: the Thai items. My personal favorite is the #68, Pan Fried Noodles, also known in regular Thai Resaurants as Pad See Ew. While it's not much different than the same dish at any Thai restaurant, I still find it hard to resist this naturally vegan dish. I guess I'm just a broccoli addict. But for those vegans who also try to avoid gluten (as I do), this dish is gluten-free. Furthermore, it s a near-perfect balanced meal, combining flat rice noodles, tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli. With the necessary protein, vegetable/greens, and "healthy" carbohydrates all in one plate, it's the perfect meal for a vegan cyclist, after a long ride.
The next time you think about going out for Thai food with friends, or you're planning a weekend Diner breakfast, don't forget about Truly Vegan. Support the vegan restaurant boom!

Truly is really an amazing place!
The menu is pretty diverse, suitable to lots of different tastes, my favorites are the banana/blueberry pancakes & chicken, and the "it's a wrap." both are fantastic, clean tasting, and as healthy as one could imagine deep fried breaded 'chicken' could be :)
affordable healthy food with fast friendly service --- it always hits the spot.

This place is great. they've got breakfast, typical american fare, and some really darn good curry. it is a lot of fun, and if you're ever down on sunset, they're open and it's a nice little place with great service.
have i used the word great enough yet? 'cuz it is!
