The meals are excellent. I recommend risotto, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. However, I strongly disagree with another reviewer on the desserts. They are awful. I have had at least 3 different of their desserts and they are tasteless, strange, and bland. But otherwise, their food is delicious and they serve beer. :)

I've been here twice and twice have been delighted by the flavorful dishes. It's one of the only places that makes a FLAVORFUL tofu scramble, most places just make bland mush. The pancakes were tasty, though Truly Vegan's are still my fav. The Spinach Linguini is amazing, as is the Tamale and Tofu. It had been so long since I'd had a tamale that I almost shed a tear. All the dishes I've tried are incredibly tasty. It's my fav. spot right now.

Sante La Brea is fantastic!
the menu at first might put a vegan off, as every dish can be seemingly made vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore friendly, but don't fret, all the waitstaff that we've had have been really friendly and helpful, and most importantly you get the feeling they know what is in each dish and they go out of there way to make sure when they are uncertain. the pasta dishes are great!, so are the Risottos.
no matter what, save room for desert, almost all of which are vegan.

recently they have been remodelling, so i've never actually been inside the main dining room, we've always eaten on the patio. It has always been a charming experience, it's a place i'll always look forward to going to over and over. the menu is almost exhaustive, and unlike most vegan restaurants, i could see trying something new everytime, and everytime being delighted.
